What is it about? How is it conducted?
It is the basics of accounting. How to read the different financial statements and make some sense out of it. Don’t go thinking that after attending this module, you will be able to read financial statements like Warren Buffett, please.

I would like to highly recommend my tutorial tutor. She was very effective in her explanations and she really push her students to go further and question the different components of the financial statements. That being said, you need to be prepared for lessons because she will really question every single thing that you say, so if you are not prepared at all then …

Recommended if:
Business & Accounting students don’t have a choice as this is a core module. For other faculties/majors, this module is a prerequisite module for FIN2704, for those who are interested to take finance modules. If you are looking to take this as a UE, I would recommend it if you have some interest in this and also if you are someone who prefers working with numbers!
